The Right Fit & Qualifications

• Previous success in technical engineering
• Coding experience beyond simple scripts
• Previous experience being part of a 24/7 production environment
• Previous experience being Tech Lead
• BA/BS degree a plus in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline; or 5+ validated years of experience in a technical support, pre-sale, sales engineering, solution architect, or similar role in the IT Solution industry
• Coding proficiency in one or more languages. (Python, JavaScript, Java, Ruby, shell scripting, etc.)
• proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bot-tlenecks
• Basic understanding of computing, storage, networking, scripting
• Passion for technology as demonstrated by your projects and interests
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills and ability to lead a conversation with clients.
• Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience using and building solutions with REST APIs.
• Preferred experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform and the supporting tooling associated with them.
• You have a strong knowledge of cloud-based workflows (compute, CDN, edge compute).
• You love to stay on top of technology trends and put them into context of APIs and data.
• You love digging into code and systems
• You have energy for learning new things, and for sharing what is learned with your colleagues to help them level-u
• You are familiar with enterprise data platforms and software tools including data, analytics, cloud, and CRM.
• You have strong technical abilities, including writing scripts to collect, store, and analyze data.
• You are skilled at scoping, prioritizing and leading projects from start to finish.
• You thrive with autonomy and enjoy taking ownership of your work and its results.
• You are comfortable using diverse platforms, data stores, and analysis tools.
• You are a sales-minded problem-solver, with strong technical skills and have a track record of moving clients forward in their cloud journey

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will partner with internal and external teams of the business to help clients craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address client's business needs.
• As a trusted client advocate, you will help organizations understand best practices around cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud
• You will have the opportunity to help clients use full-stack IT Solutions within their organizations, ranging from new start-ups to large enterprise customers.
• You will support our clients with technical challenges for internal and external sites, applications, databases, backups, and different software's.
• Throughout the placement, you will be exposed to relevant real-world challenges of different organizations and clouds setups

What You'll Do

• Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
• Build solutions to manage platform infrastructure and applications
• Improve reliability, quality, and provide solutions to reoccurring problems
• Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, and innovating to continually improve
• Provide primary operational support and engineering for sites and applications
• Gather and review metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding
• Partner with development teams to improve services through testing and collaboration
• Participate in system design, platform management, and capacity planning
• Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts
• Achieve service level agreements through speed and reliability.
• Mentor team members while collaborating across all platforms of Cloud Services
• Collaborate closely to support the clients with an everything matters mindset.
• Develop and present sales and technical materials to educate clients on the value of Cloud Services for business applications.
• Write technical documents that outline and define specifics of how to find value with Cloud Services and other tools.
• Build tools and write code to enable customers and prospects to get started quickly with connecting to and consuming Cloud Services.
• You are creative and skilled at coming up with technical solutions and workarounds to help tackle clients/business problems.
• Design and diagram technical solutions and architectures that meet clients' requirements and drive architectural discussions to ensure partners successfully integrate.
• Represent client's needs, opinions, ideas, and feedback to xByte product and engineering teams.
• Guide clients in Cloud Service and best practices to reap the benefits to long-term value and success.
• Participate in on-call rotation
